The Ultimate Game
Ultimate Frisbee is a game that is played with a Frisbee. Regulation-size Frisbees are 175 grams. Ultimate is played on a field which has an endzone on each end. Each team has seven players on the field at a time. It is usually played to 15 points.
The round starts when one team throws off the Frisbee to the other team. The other team must then get the Frisbee to the endzone. The defending team must try to get the Frisbee turned over so they can run towards their goal. The round ends when a team scores a point by catching the Frisbee in the endzone. A player holding the Frisbee may never run until the Frisbee leaves his hands. A turnover can happen in one of the six following ways:
1. If the Frisbee touches the ground.
2. If the Frisbee goes out of bounds.
3. If the player commits an offensive foul.
4. If a defensive player catches it for an interception.
5. If they are stalled by the defense for 10 seconds.
6. The player holding the Frisbee moves more than one foot.
